The project involves the design of a new facade for the HQ of a textile company in Scandicci. The existing frame structure is maintained, removing the green patina. The new skin fully considers the existing one by utilizing the cavity space for a formal, but above all physical-technological adaptation of the new structure transformed into an open greenhouse: solar radiation, air intakes, modularity and mobility of individual portions, transparency, water protection, and ventilation are the essential components of the new facade. Features that not only identify the building but also improve its efficiency, energy management, and internal comfort.
