The project consists of the proposed setup for the Bahrain pavilion at the 2025 architecture biennale inside the Arsenale in Venice, focusing on the internal layout and drawing inspiration from materials found in the context of Bahrain.
The curatorial proposal addresses extreme heat and desertification in contexts like Bahrain, rethinking the use of air conditioners: from energy-intensive and invasive machines to resources, recovering waste heat and integrating it with traditional architectural intelligence.
On display, the pavilion reconstructs a typical urban space of Bahrain, offering visitors an immersive experience of a mitigated microclimate, among native vegetation, shade, and artificial light, to imagine new ways of inhabiting the heat.
